Although I often wish that Donald Trump would shut up, he has a constitutional right not to. A federal judge went too far in restricting his free expression Monday when she imposed a gag order on the former president.U.S. District Judge Tanya Chutkan, who is presiding over the Washington prosecution of Trump for his role in the Jan. 6, 2021, insurrection, ordered him to refrain from rhetoric targeting prosecutors and court personnel as well as inflammatory statements about likely witnesses.Chutkan issued the order in response to a motion from special counsel Jack Smith. POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Bardavon Theater announced they will be hosting a free screening of the horror movie "Nosferatu", accompanied by a live score performed on Wurlitzer organ. The classic vampire film was released in 1922, six years before the Bardavon's iconic organ was installed in 1928. Delivery truck hits Maple Avenue Bridge in Glenville

GLENVILLE, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- On Thursday afternoon, Glenville Police responded to Maple Avenue for the report of a bridge strike. Police located a 2021 Kenworth delivery truck operated by Steven Pulcher, 51, of Hudson. Get the latest news, weather, sports and entertainment delivered right to your inbox! Pulcher told the officers that he was following his GPS and did not know the height of the vehicle. Police charged him with three vehicle and traffic law violations and the Glenville Town Code for disobeying an over-height warning.No injuries were reported. The bridge strike closed Maple Avenue for approximately one hour and 15 minutes.

Troy man gets 25 years for attempted murder

TROY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A 23-year-old male from Troy will serve 25 years in state prison and five years of post-release supervision after being convicted of attempted murder. Zack Zeoli was accused of shooting a victim in the vicinity of 5th Avenue and Rensselaer Street in August 2022. Get the latest news, weather, sports and entertainment delivered right to your inbox! Zeoli was sentenced to 15 years for criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree, 5 to 15 years for a forgery charge, and 2 1/3 to 7 years for possession of forgery devices charge. The judge ordered the sentences to run consecutive to the attempted murder charge.The victim, another resident of Troy, survived but sustained injuries to the chest, neck, and hand.

A national real estate firm said workers feel unsafe outside its office building at 18th and Blake in LoDo, an issue that it lays at the feet of its ground-floor tenant: 7-Eleven.But 7-Eleven said it is being scapegoated for downtown’s lingering problem of vagrancy.This debate between landlord and tenant played out in letters between lawyers last year. Detectives from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department are seeking the public’s help to identify potential suspects regarding a robbery in Palmdale.The incident occurred at an Ulta Beauty location in Palmdale, located on 10th St.. The incident took place on June 20.Two woman suspects were seen entering the store and leaving with over $1,800 worth of perfume.
