DENVER (KDVR) — Colorado's big weekend of football is bringing the Centennial State lots of attention, but experts say it will likely bring Colorado lots of dollars too, expecting the state to bring in millions from football fans.The energy surrounding the Colorado Buffaloes and the Denver Broncos this opening weekend is undeniable. Economists believe fans of both teams are ready to break out their wallets.“Our Buffs and Nebraska, then the Denver Broncos and the hated Raiders. That kind of energy, that kind of excitement also brings with it a really significant economic impact to our region," said J.J. Police seek the public’s help in their search for a 14-year-old boy who was reported missing from Miami.According to City of Miami Police, Jose Bolanos was last seen on Friday in an unspecified part of the Model City area.The teen stands 5 feet, 9 inches tall, weighs around 127 pounds, and has black hair and brown eyes.He was last seen wearing a yellow shirt and khaki pants.Officials urge anyone with information on Bolanos’ whereabouts to call Miami Police at 305-603-6300 or 305-579-6111.

Storms rolled through much of southern New England Friday afternoon, bringing down trees and utility poles while knocking out power for thousands of people.As of 8:45 p.m., some 54,000 customers were without power across the Bay State alone, according to the Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency’s outage map.Around 79 percent of Andover, totaling more than 11,500 customers, is out of power, and North Andover, Lawrence and Acton are all experiencing significant outages as of 9 p.m.Much of central and western Massachusetts remained under a Severe Thunderstorm Watch until 11 p.m., with Middlesex, Essex, Worcester, Franklin, Hampden, and Hampshire counties all a part of the watch.In terms of damage, scenes across the region included one in Andover where crews were responding to report of a tree that splintered and fell onto a vehicle. Nearly 100 people in Worcester gathered for a vigil Friday night honoring the memory of 14-year-old Harris Wolobah.“We gather with a family of course that mourns with a very very heavy heart,” the pastor at the vigil said.The teen died a week ago after those close to the family said he was dared to participate in an internet craze called “The One Chip Challenge.” He ate a spicy chip and got sick. Police said he stopped breathing at his home hours later.“I can’t make sense of it,” a family member said. “I don’t know that any of us can but what we can do is keep Harris’s spirit alive in our hearts and our actions.”“A light as bright as Harris can never be truly extinguished,” she said.The company behind the challenge has since pulled the produce from shelves.
