This is what a one-party state looks like.On Thursday, the Massachusetts House voted 128–26 to gut a law passed by the voters that provided tax relief to the working classes on those rare occasions when the Commonwealth collected too much money.Last year, the taxpayers — not to be confused with Democrats — were refunded $3 billion of their own money under the provisions of the law, known as 62F.The hackerama was outraged that people who worked would get back some of their own money. They were determined to get rid of 62F. Beloved Dennis-Yarmouth principal Paul Funk passed away unexpectedly Saturday morning.A Wakefield High grad, Funk went on to play his college baseball at the University of Connecticut. Following there, he served as teacher and assistant football coach at Everett before heading south.Funk has been at Dennis-Yarmouth for more than two decades, serving as football coach and athletic director before assuming his duties as principal. During his time as football coach from 2001-2018, the Dolphins went 125-64-1 and captured a pair of Super Bowl titles.Following the 2018 season, he made the tough decision to give up roles as football coach and athletic director to become principal.“Football has been a big part of my life down here. NAIROBI, Kenya (AP) — At least 10 people died when the bus they were traveling in left the road and rolled several times in southern Kenya, police said Sunday.The passengers were on their way back to the coastal city of Mombasa after attending a funeral in the Mwatate area, Taita Taveta County, on Saturday evening.Mwatate Police Chief Morris Okul told The Associated Press that the driver of the bus survived and was hospitalized in critical condition.“The survivors told us they were 34 people on board excluding children,” Okul said. JAYAPURA, Indonesia (AP) — Separatist gunmen attacked Indonesian army troops who were deployed to rescue a New Zealand pilot taken hostage by the rebels in Indonesia’s restive Papua province, leaving at least six dead and about 30 missing, officials said Sunday. Initial information from army reports said there were about 36 soldiers at a post in the hilly district of Nduga, when attackers from the West Papua Liberation Army, the armed wing of the Free Papua Movement, opened fire on Saturday. At least six died and 21 others fled into the jungle, according to the military reports seen by journalists. A military spokesman confirmed only one dead. Nine soldiers were reportedly being held by the rebels.Papua military spokesperson Col. Saudi prince gives 4% Aramco stake to public investment firm

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates (AP) — Saudi Arabia’s crown prince announced Sunday the transfer of a 4% stake of the oil giant Saudi Aramco to a subsidiary of the kingdom’s sovereign wealth fund, further boosting its coffers as the kingdom tries to expand its economy beyond oil. Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s decision, announced by the state-run Saudi Press Agency, sends the stake to the Saudi Arabian Investment Co., known as Sanabil Investments. Sanabil is under the sovereign wealth fund known as the Public Investment Fund. “The transfer will also solidify PIF’s strong financial position and credit rating,” the statement about the deal said. SAPPORO, Japan (AP) — So much has been invested in clean energy that there can be no rolling back of moves to end carbon emissions, U.S. climate envoy John Kerry said Sunday.
